Bear Bell??

I created this card for the holidays and never posted it or entered in a challenge. But it just so happens that they are having a challenge over at Cupcake Craft for anything with a bell and over at Red Carpet Studio for a Bear card.  I cut the bear from cricut cartridge Bears on Parade and cut him at 2.5".   I put him on my own made spring action so he shakes. (see post below on Roo's 1st video) I also hand drew his eyes and mouth. I didn't have a Peachy keen critter stamps yet.    I found the cute bell at Joann's Fabric.the pom pom is silver & white.  The candy cane and mug are cut from a Stampin Up die and stamp set, along with the sentiment stamped in true red ink and border paper and ribbon.

anything goes and Red black & White Challenges

Hello All,
I joined a color challenge at Cardz TV.  We are just to use black, red and white.  And the anything goes at Creative Inspiration Paint Challenge. This is what I came up with. I cut the butterfly at 2" from cricut cartridge Wall Decor & more.  The heart from Doodle Charms. I used the black background with a spellbinders die.  I used Cuddlebug Swiss dots for the white card stock.  I found the red  heart buttons at Michaels and of course I had to add some bling to the butterfly with heart shape crystals, also found at Michaels.   Thanks for stopping by.

In cupcake mode?????

Back in cupcake mode? Sort of. LOL This is a sock cupcake for valentine's day. It's a late entry over at Scappy Mom's 3D Valentine Challenge.  I'm entering it in a dessert challenge over at Pause Dream Enjoy and Cupcake Crafts challenge. I found these chocolate color socks. I wrapped them around tight and put a rubber band on the bottom to secure it.  Then added a red pom pom as a cherry on top. I created the cupcake wrapper in MTC. The picture doesn't do it justice, but in person it looks good enough to eat. LOL. Thanks for stopping by. As always comments are welcome.

Are You Ready For Some Football.

If you saw my video yesterday, you know I lost a monkey. He wasn't hanging with Roo either.   But, I did find some monkeys playing football. LOL.  I'm entering this card in the CardzTV cricut banner challenge and Funday anything goes challenge.    I used the Life is a Beach cartridge for the palm trees, cut at 3 and 4 inches. And the  Everyday Paperdolls for the football helmet and ball. I used Create a Critter for the monkeys cut at 1.75 inches. Also used Peachy Keen Everyday faces for the monkey eyes and Cuddlebug Palms embossing folder for the tree leaves. Pop dots were used for the monkeys and the larger palm trees .I edged the card, label and trees with Tim Holtz tea die ink and used a white pen for the football and a dark brown marvy marker to draw the lines on the trees. Also used the Spellbinders die label for the sentiment that was typed on the computer. Thanks for stopping by. Comments are appreciated.

Today I created a card using the cricut create a critter cartridge. My card size is 5.5 x 4.25  I layered it with a sheet 5.25 x 4 that looked like vines in a jungle to me, from Martha Stewarts Woodland paper pack.  I printed the sentiment on the computer which I then used the Spellbinders nestibilities label to frame it. I also used light brown chalk around the edges to give some depth.  The face was stamped with the Peachy Keen PK 490 Everyday Faces set.  The monkey was cut at 2.5 inches.  I made another rocking gadget using 26 gage wire, a pencil and half inch circle punch. (see previous post on Roo Rocks). Thanks for stopping by.

Roo Rocks

Roo Rocks. Yes he does.  I made a Roo that rocks with the flick of a finger. I have the action wobbles from Scrapbooking Queen but they were too big for this Roo.  I had to make my own rocking gadget. I used 26 gage floral wire, a 1/2 inch circle punch, pencil and score tape. (see the previous post video). I'm entering this Roo in the Creative Inspirations Paint anything goes challenge, the Pink Elephant Challenge and the Scrappy Frog challenge to do something new and this gadget qualifies. LOL. Stay tuned to see where Roo hops off to next. Thanks for stopping by.

Roo's 1st Video

Hello Roo All,
LOL. I am having fun with my Roo creations.  As you will see by my video I've never made a video before. I realized I'm going to need a tripod and have to learn how to add text to things, I forgot to mention in the video. Such as I used the Cuddlebug swiss dots folder. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge for the guitar and the microphone. From previous posts you may have seen I created Roo in MTC.  I also used it to make the heart boarder on Roo Rock My World card.  I used a punch I had for the corners and I used Spellbinders Nestabilities for the label.  As always comments are appreciated. Now on with the show.

Roo hops up to the challenge.

Roo is hopping up to the Peachy Keen Challenge. Of course he has a Peachy Keen Critter Face, which just makes him so stinking cute. LOL I also entered Roo in the  Valentine Challenge at More the favors challenge Wacy Weds.  If you haven't followed Roo's creation a few posts back, I created him in Make The Cut. On this card, I used the cuddlebug swiss dots folder and of course his precious face from PK 754 Critter Faces set.  The font I used was script bold for the sentiment and Spellbinders Label 4 nestabilities set.   I used red with gold sparkles rik rak I bought at Walmart. Along with a small crystal flower I bought at Joann Fabrics. Wish us Luck!  Roo will be hopping on to another card soon. Comments are appreciated.  Thanks for stopping by.

Roo Hopped onto a card.

Roo finally made it to a card. He needs to be on a couple of them before Valentine's Day. So stay tuned to see how he hops from card to card. Thanks for stopping by.

Here is the inside of the card:

He brought hearts and then. . .

From my previous post you can see I created Roo Valentine. He didn't make it to a card as I had planned.  But he's been busy as you can see below. LOL.   Actually, I am entering this in a card challenge at Cardz TV.  I created  Mrs. Roo and accessories using Make The Cut. I used Peachy Keen Critter Face stamp for Roo, but I drew the face for baby Roo. The base of the card I used the cuddlebug embossing folder swiss dots, and also for the balloon baby Roo is holding. I used baker's twine for the string for the balloons and Memento Pink Angel ink for the edges and dots. Eventually, I'll get Roo to hop on a card, so stay tuned.

New Creation Kangaroo for Valentine's Day

I'm still on my Valentine's Day phase.  I created this Kangaroo in MTC.  He is just too cute.  I made him entirely from basic shapes in MTC.  I didn't like the way the 1st one's tail looked, so I made a better one. I tried using google eyes, but it wasn't working for me. Then I remembered I just received my Critter Face stamps the other day from Peachy Keen and found the perfect face for him.  Stay tuned as I will be putting him on a card soon. Comments are appreciated.

Do Frogs Come in "Pink"

Hello again.
I entered Miss Frog in the CardzTV cute kid challenge. I was at Michaels last week when they had their 50% off paper sale.  I was able to pick up their Reflections All Season Pad and Bold Basic Pad each with 240 sheets.  Valentine's Day seems like it is far off now, but when I saw this cute sheet of pink frogs paper in the all season pad, I just had to make a card.  So many cute pages, its what motivated me to create more cards and why this card is early. I made an "S" fold card today. When the card is open it is 5.5" x 11"  When it is closed it is a square card of 5.5 x 5.5  The frog is from Create a Critter and was cut at 2.5" and layered on 2 pieces of square card stock 3" and 2.75".  On the inside I used Spellbinders nestabilities Label 1. And I put pop dots on the inside heart. The sentiment was typed on the computer and I used Memento's Angel Pink ink around the edges to give it some depth. The hearts are 1 3/4" and I used the Cuddlebug's swiss dots embossing fold on them and the shadow layer on the back of the frog,so it shows thru her heart.   The eyes for the frog was stamped with Peachy Keen critters Faces PK-754.  Thanks for stopping by.

Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year everybody.  I have made my first card for 2013.  I was inspired by Mary of Cardz TV.  I needed to send out some thank you cards and this was a fun card to make.  I made my own wobble mechanizium.  I used thin wire and wrapped it around a pencil. I punched out a 1" round shape and secured the wire with score tape on each end. I then applied it to my New Year Bear that was cut at 2" who now wobbles with the flick of a finger. The bear is from cricut cartridge Teddy Bear Parade.
Tools used were cuddle bug embossing folder Polka Dots, Spellbinder Nestabilities dies, Big Shot, 1" circle punch, thin wire, (don't know the gage), glue dots, score tape,  DCWV winter mat stack & holiday collection glitter stack.
