Age is just a number

New {Pin}spirational Challenge #56 Sponser this week is Saturated-Canary  Take a look at her images they are cute and I think Blanche here is sassy. I can see myself using more of her images on my cards.   This was a fun card to make for a friend who is turning.... well she probly wouldn't want me to say, which inspired the sentiment.   I used Friskers gold glitter pen for her eye shadow and dress.  I used a brown colored pencil for her hair and red in the sash on her dress and lips.  I used a blue pencil for her eye color and clear glitter pen to give her eyes sparkle. The heart button was cut from gold glitter paper with a Stitch button die from My Creative Time . The white scallop layer mats were cut from spellbinders. And the base mats were cut from gold glitter paper from my stash. The card base is white with a layer of red that I ran through the Cuttlebug wedding bliss embossing folder. The sentiments were computer generated.

#54 PINSPIRATIONAL CHALLENGE APRIL 23

Hello All,

I can't believe how time has gotten away from me lately.  Here is my entry for #54 {Pin}spirational Challenge . Our sponser this week is Delicious Doodles  I used the Cupcake Fairy for my card.  My grandaughter and I baked cupcakes for the holidays and she is an angel. Her birthday is next month so I am sending her this card.  I used MTC to cut the scalloped card base and her wings out of pink glitter paper and colored her wings and outfit with Bic markers and Fiskers glitter pens. I'm sorry the picture doesn't capture the glitter it is so much prettier in person.  I used spellbinders butterfly die that was perfect for the mat and than used the butterflies from the mat on the inside of the card.  I put her on an action wobble and used memento inks for the sentiment that was a stamp I picked up at Michaels.  I also used the cuttlebug embossing folder big dots on the scallop card and swiss dots on the purple butterfly mat. I love reading your comments come back soon.

{Pin}spirational Challenge #53

Hello & welcome back to Kitt's World.

The sponsors for this week's {Pin}spirational Challenge #53 are Fred She Said and  Fresh Brewed Design Have you ever had a day where your so tired, but you need to stay awake to finish a project?  I know I have and drank lots of coffee to stay awake. Of course when it came time to finally get to bed I was too wired to go to sleep.   The Digi and sentiment from Fresh Brewed Design was perfect for the card I created for this challenge.  I decided to have her tilt to the side on my card.  I started out by using colored pencils. Her outfit was cut out of a pattern paper I had in my stash.  I used a clear gel pen for the donut and to make her eyes sparkle and then used copic markers for her skin and  hair.  I used bakers twine and had a button in my stash that looked like a coffee bean that fit perfectly with the theme.  I found the free 5 coffee cup digi's online.  Thanks for stopping by.
