I Miss My Spectrum Noir Markers.

Hello my crafty friends.
I'm out of state visiting my parents and due to the airline limited weight luggage rule, I couldn't bring my Spectrum Noir Markers. So when the tough gets going you get creative. LOL   I went to the local Walmart and bought white cardstock, crayons, markers, color pencils, adhesive tape and a Colorbox 6x6 photo mat jewel pad. I will be leaving the crayons, markers and cardstock  here for my grand daughter. This image is from Squigglefly  I have the Scrapbook Max 2 program There is a free trial version for you to try before you buy. It's very user friendly and easy to use. Last time I looked it was about  $29 for the program.  I have no ties to the company or program in anyway. I haven't used it in a long time.  But I was able to create the heart sentiment box with the butterfly, sentiment and flower.  I like the way it came out.  I'll have to use the program more often, but I won't give up my digital image coloring with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I started out coloring the image her skin with the crayon.  It didn't look right and gave her a glossy look.  So I used a light brown pencil to add some depth of color.  I used the markers for her tulip flowers and the wheel on the cart. I used pencils for her hair trying to blend the best I could.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at Kitt's World today.  When I get the chance I will re-do this image with my Spectrum Noir Markers. Follow me for the side by side reveal.  Thanks for your comments. I love hearing from you.

Think Cool

Hello my crafty friends,
Is the heat getting to you? Before you know it the cold winds will blow. Even though we rarely have snow in Florida it can get cold.  The image I used is from Inky Impressions I wanted to go out of the box with all the usual Christmas colors for her outfit and card base.  The sentiment and tag is from My Creative Time Teeny Tag stamp and greetings set.  I used Cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots for the navy mat and for bling I used a rhinestone for the tag and glitter for the snow. I used Spectrum Noir Markers BGR 1,2,3, GB11,TN7,EB3 for the sled, BT7, BP1 for the hat and outfit. I used FS 1,2 for the face and FS8 for the rosy cheek color. For the hair I used CT1,3,4.  Head on over to {Pin}spirational Challenge #67 and see the other images from our talented design team.  Think Cool! Thanks for your comments. I love reading them.

Try Try Again Just for you

Hello My crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by today.I made 2 different cards with this image from Dr. Digi for {Pin}spirational Challenge  #67
Here was my first card
I was thinking a gold robot and I use Tim Holtz tea die distress ink for the edges.  I really need to practice that technique more.  I used a dobber.  I'm just too heavy handed with the dobber. I used a green gem for the belly button and took gold bead chain from my stash to frame it so it didn't look so bad. Although it could be saying the robot burnt the cake and came back with the cupcake. LOL. I used Spectrum Noir Markers GB10,11, JG2, TN5, FL3, BG3,CT4, GT2, IB2, GT2. The sentiment was from the stamp set Simple Said from CardzTV. I used the cuttlebug embossing folder Charles.

Here is my second attempt. I went simple this time without the distress ink. The sparkle dark blue paper from DCWV glitter pack. The light blue is also from DCWV.  The Spectrum Noir markers I used were IG1, BT4, TB2,3, TN6 and the sentiment was also from CardzTV.  Thanks for stopping by today I love reading your comments.

No Spectrum Noir today.

Hello my crafty followers,

I can make a card without Spectrum Noir markers. LOL. Here is a card I made with my Cricut and a Spellbinder nesting die. The butterfly is from Cricut Wall Décor and the Heart is from Cricut Doodle Charms. I used Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss dots for the base card and the heart. From my stash I added some bling with crystal stones and red heart shape buttons.  I'll be away for a while but I have more {Pin}spirational Challenge entries scheduled for my blog. I wouldn't want you to miss anymore of my Spectrum Noir projects. LOL  Thanks for stopping by to visit me today. Comments are always appreciated and I look forward to reading them.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

Hello my crafty friends,
I just had to make a card with this image from QKR Stampede.  I know I wanted a yellow shirt. I don't know why. LOL.  Of course I used my Spectrum  Noir markers.  I will make myself write down what I use in the future.  There are so many markers to choose from the different sets that go together.  Yes, I have all the markers. It took me a while but when I knew I really liked them, I was able to find a good buy on them online.  I bought all the individual sets from JoAnn's and the 24 marker sets online.  The 24 marker sets come in: Brights, Lights, Pastels, and Darks.  The 6 marker sets I got at JoAnn's come in shades of the same color family, such as Pinks, Reds, Greens, Browns, Purples, Blues, Yellows, Cool Gray, Warm Gray, Pale Hues, and Essentials.  The Essentials set has the blender marker.  It allows you to erase if you go outside the line.   I still have to master the technique. Now back to my card.  The Thanks sentiment is from Stampin up set Petite Pairs.  The sentiment below the bear is computer generated. I used Tim Holtz Tea Die Distress Ink around the bear mat.  The bakers twine is from the neutral assortment from Close to My Heart. The mat for my card was from Debbie Mumm Harvest and Holiday paper pak. The base card was from my stash. Thanks for your comments. I love hearing from you.
