Witching You Happy Halloween

Hello My Crafty Friends,
Are you ready for the witching hour? Did you guess what I would have on the front of this card from my previous post? This month's sponsor for the challenge over at {Pin}spirational Challenges is from Sassy Studio Designs Be sure to stop over and see other sassy images.  They are fun to color.  Yes, I used Spectrum Noir Markers.  I added some bling with Stickles colors silver for the hat and shoes and purple on the dress. The background mat is from Reflections Seasonal pack. I just love the sayings and tried to include them in the design.  Did you see the hint for what my image for the front of the card would be?  Look at the lower right hand side. LOL. I used  memento grape jelly around the edges of the images.  For the sassy witch I used Spectrum Noir LV1,2,3, for her outfit, JG2 for her eyes, FS5,1,4 for skin color and for the broom GB2,6,9.  The Trick or Treat colors PL4,CR4 Candy Corn OR1,TN6.  I love hearing from you, thanks for stopping by today and have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Dusted off my Cricut

Hello My Crafty Friends,
It's sad but true.  I have neglected my Cricut since I purchased my Silhouette Cameo.  The image is a sentiment from Eureka.  As you can see I came up with an inside for a card first in my other post today Can you guess what I'm adding to this card? Check it out and leave a comment here.  I wanted to challenge myself to be more creative. My mojo has abandon me for a while. But it seems to be on the upswing now. Thank goodness.  I used an old Cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up to create the kids and the Cuttlebug embossing folders, Swirl and Halloween faces.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the right size circle punch for the Boo moon and had to fussy cut it. Of course I used my Spectrum Noir markers. LOL I use 1B1 to edge around the ghost and the sentiment.  I stamped, yes I said stamped, ( I haven't done too much of that lately either LOL), the face on the kid with Peachy Keen Faces 250.  For the image I used Spectrum Noir markers OR1,CT4,DG3,LV3 and Black. I used Spellbinder labels for the sentiment image and the mat. I used pop dots for the sentiment, the Boo moon and the kids.  Thanks for stopping by today. Your comments always inspire my mojo.

Is it Trick or Treat?

Hello My Crafty Friends,
The image I used is from Eureka Stamps  I used it for the inside of my card.  Unfortunately, the outside of that card is not ready for its appearance until October 29th over at Pinspirational Challenges . I was so excited to get the front of the card done, I forgot the inside of the card was due first. Can you guess what the front of my card will look like?  Or is this a Trick or Treat?  I'd love to hear what you think it might be. In the meantime, stop on over at {Pin}spirational Challenges to see what the talented  design team has to get you in the Halloween spirit.

Annoucement.and Another First.

Hello My Crafty Friends,
I am excited to announce that I am honored to be on my second design team, over at  Craftitude Challenges .  Be sure to stop by and be inspired by the design team's creations. Join the challenge for a chance to win 5 free images.   I met another challenge for myself with another first. A center fold card.  Ya'll, know how much I love to use my Spectrum Noir Markers and I just can't collect enough digital images to use them on. LOL.  The image today is from QKR. The sentiment was computer generated. There were so many ways I could of went with the sentiment. I was going to go with 'witch way to the candy bowl,' hence the bad complexion she has. LOL.  But I was inspired with the star paper that I had in my stash. I purchased it at JoAnn Fabrics over a year ago. For some reason I prefer the colors purple and yellow for Halloween witches. And skin should be some sort of bluish green, as you can see from my card.  I used MTC to create the vertical lettering and the spider was cut with the Silhouette Cameo. The background area of the witch image and the sentiment was too white, so I colored it in with Spectrum Noir Marker GG1. I was going to use 2 small buttons but then I had a spider left over from another project.  I thought it gave the card a good 3D effect when the card stands open. Follow along and share this creative journey with me and we'll soar to new heights of creativity together.

Hang in There

Hello my crafty friends,
October is the Beware of Cancer month.  Over at {Pin}spirational Challenges our sponsors this month are  Bugaboo Stamps and The Stamping Chef . Join our challenge to win some awesome images and see more inspirational projects from the design team.   For my card I used images from Bugaboo Stamps. I used stickles platinum for some bling along with a couple of flowers from my stash for embellishments. I also colored the images with Spectrum Noir Markers. Before I used the stickles I used CT4 for the polka dot top. I also used PP1,FS1,BP3,BP4,BG1,IG1,2,and TB2.  Have you had your mammogram this year?
