A bad day of golf can make a man a troll

Hello my crafty friends.
Down to the wire here in posting this tag.  It is for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations and it was to use Easter colors.  The image is from Scribble and Scrap and I had it colored in for a couple weeks, but didn't have a clue what to do with it. This image was definately a challenge for me.  My hubby plays golf and on a bad day of golf he can be in a monster of a mood later. LOL.   Anyway, I used my Spectrum Noir markers TB1,2,BT1,2,HB1,2,3,BG2,CT4 and of course Stickles Diamonds for sparkle and an action wobble to let him swing the golf club. LOL.  I used Silhouette Cameo to cut the image and print the tag and sentiment. I used Silhouette Tag Design ID #5360.
Thanks for stopping by today. I enjoy reading your kind comments that inspire me to continue on this creative journey.

Congrats

Hello my crafty friends.
The challenge over at Artisitic Inspirations is to use Easter colors. Be sure to stop by and see what the DT has for your Easter color inspiration. The image is from Scribble and Scrap. I rarely use ribbon because I just can't seem to get the bow right. But I decided to give it a go and get out of my comfort zone. I used Cuttlebug wedding bliss embossing folder for the base card and the mat and ribbon were from my stash. I stamped the sentiment and used the die from Stampin Up Circle thinlet set. The dragons were colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I used Stickle Diamonds for sparkle. The sentiment label and the dragons were mounted on popups for depth.

Happy couple

Hello my crafty friends and new followers,
Thanks for stopping by today. Today's image is from Flat Friends for the challenge over at {Pin}spirational Challenges.  I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. The image is at an angle which puts me out of my comfort zone for some reason. I may be working backwards, but I like to color my image and then find the paper and embellishments later.  Sometimes I get lucky.  For instance I had this paper in my stash that went well with the colors of the couple outfits. I used Cuttlebug hugs and kisses embossing folder on the card base. The flower was from my stash. I used Memento Angel Pink ink to edge the edges of the image.  Be sure to stop by {Pin}spirational Challenges today and see what our fabulous design team has for your inspiration. Thanks for following me and your comments. I love hearing from  you.

Got Eggs?

Hello my crafty friends,
The challenge over at Artistic Inspirations  is to create something for kids. The image is from Robyns Fetish. I print and cut the egg shape base card with the Silhouette Cameo. I also cut the image with it.  I used a die cut from the Stampin Up Thinlet Circle set.  The sentiment is a stamp from My Creative Time. I edged around the sentiment label with Tim Holtz Tea Die Distress ink.  I discovered that if I add the ink from the "back side" of the item I want to edge around, it will look much better than when I try to do it from the sides. Of course I used Spectrum Noir markers and Stickles Diamond for sparkle. LOL.  Stay tune for my  next project, Lots more sparkle to come. Thanks for following me on this creative journey. Have a wonderful creative day.

Entry for Craftitude Challenge use some green

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is my creation for adding green for the Craftitude Challenges.  When I think green and this being March, of course I think of St. Patrick Day.  Well to be different and having this image from Aurora Wings to work with, I came up with this card for maybe someone who recently had twins.  I used Spectrum Noir markers and Stickles diamonds for sparkle.  The sentiment stamp is from my stash, I believe its from a Fawn Dawn but not sure. I used  Cuttlebug embossing folder and die from Stampin up thinlet set for the sentiment label.  The layered paper is from an Easter paper pack from my stash.  I rarely use ribbon because my bow tying is not the best. But I was determine to get out of my comfort zone and this bow looked pretty good to me for a change.  I used the Silhouette to print and cut the image an put it and the sentiment on pop dots.  I will have more projects coming that will get me out of my comfort zone.  I invite you to follow me as I continue on with this creative journey.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a happy crafty day.

Do you feel lucky?

Hello my crafty friends,
March 17th is St. Patricks Day and who doesn't want to have the luck of the Irish for a day. LOL.  The challenge today over at Craftitude  is anything goes and use some green.  Pop on over and see what the design team has for your Irish green inspiration.  The image today is Steampunk Victoria from Sassy Studios  I wanted to create a masculint card. I used brown cardstock for the base card and used Baby Breath Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the image, sentiment and shamrocks. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the image and used a gold glitter gel pen on her accesories. And to add more sparkle I used Stickles diamonds on the sentiment boarder and word Lucky. Thanks for stopping by today and may the luck of the Irish be with  you.

This winter stinks!

Hello my crafty friends,
Are you tired of all the snow? This skunk image is so stinking cute. It is from MelJen Designs one of the sponsors over at Artistic Inspiration. The challenge is anything goes and make it sparkle.  I used Spectrum Noir markers to color him and Stickles diamonds to add the sparkle to the skunk, flower centers and the edge of the cloud sentiment. I used Darice clouds embossing folder for the base card. And Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder for the grass. I put the skunk and cloud sentiment on pop dots.  I used the Silhouette to cut the skunk, grass and cloud.  The cloud Design ID #43148  and grass Design #:26838  is from a Silhouette file.  The sentiment was computer generated.  Head on over to Artistic Challenges and see what the DT has to sparkle your interest. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your lovely comments. I love reading them.
