BUSY BAKING SEASON CREATIONS

Hello my crafty friends,
Here are a couple of pictues of some of my baking creations. Sorry no glue or glitter here. LOL Cupcake mode has stuck again. First up Christmas Wreaths.  Those of you who follow me know I rarely use bows in my crafts. Why you ask? Just take a look at these bows on the cupcakes. LOL.  I used twizzlers cherry string licorice. The only good thing about the one's that didn't make it to the cupcake were eaten. LOL.I used Duncan Hines yellow cake mix and covered with vanilla icing.  Then I used coconut flakes that I colored green with food coloring for the edges of the cupcake.
What would be Christmas without some Rudolph cupcakes? The icing is Hershey caramel chocolate. The eyes are hard candy that I found at Walmart. I used pretzels for the antlers and M&M's red mint flavored chocolate for his nose.  It was Duncan Hines Devil Food Chocolate cake mix.

Last Challenge for A Song in your HeArt

Hello my crafty friends,
The A Song is closing December 24th. This is my last project for the DT.  My son's birthday is in December and this Piano card worked perfect to fit the song .  It has a gift card and folds flat to fit in an A2 envelop for mailing.  The card is from Casual Whimsy.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut it and print the sentiment. I want to thank you all for following me on this creative journey and leaving your lovely comments.   Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year. Have a happy crafty day.

Snow Angel Bear

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is my card for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations Challenges . Be sure to stop by and see what the talented DT has for your winter inspiration. I used Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the card. I created the background with the Scrapbook Max program.  For the sparkle I used Stickles Diamonds. I like using that because it doesn't matter what color you want to add some bling.  As you can see the color on the flower comes out gold and the scarf white come out like diamonds.  Thanks for stopping by today an leaving your comments. Keep warm in those northern places and have a happy crafty day.

A Creative Need Challenge

Hello my crafty friends,
The weather is getting colder and  some of you have already seen the snow. The image of the girl catching the snowflake is from A Creative Need.  I'm excited to be part of this talented DT.  Be sure to stop by and see the wonderful images available and inspirational projects from the DT.  I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the image.  For bling I used StampinUp crystals on the flowers and snowflakes.  On the base of the card I used Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the image and digital background.  The digital background was created in the Scrapbook Max program.  Follow me  as I share what I learn on this creative journey. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

3D Shadow Box Card

Hello my crafty friends,
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  Here is a 3D shadow box card.  The card patteren is from SnapDragon Snippits and the image is from Imagine That .  This is for the challenge over at Give a Crafter a Cookie. Be sure to stop by and see what the talented DT has for your holiday inspiration.  I used the Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder on the outside and inside snow slopes. I used silver glitter paper (from Michaels) for the frame. I used blue glitter paper for the background behind the sentiment. Unfortunately, it doesn't show well in this picture. I took the picture in front of the window to show the background.  This would be good with a tea light behind it. I will have to see if I can find any and take another picture of the card at night. I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the  sentiment SD#69286 the image and card. And I used Sookwang tape to adhere the card together.  Off to finish some more holiday cards. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind words. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.
